Blepharitis:
Common inflammatory lesion affecting eyelid margins.
Etiology:
 | usually caused by normal ocular flora, especially Staphylococcus |
| can be associated with Rosacea |
Signs & Symptoms:
| eyelash crusting |
| inflamed lid margins |
| burning, foreign body sensation |
Treatment:
| warm compresses, lid hygiene |
| mild antibiotic ointment to margin |
| systemic Tetracycline, Erythromycin |
